Seasons
Sunny Mound Flower Garden is a small urban cut flower farm and garage studio in Inverness. Everything here begins with the seasons.
The Garden
I grow flowers and foliage chosen for scent, beauty and resilience — always with the Highland climate in mind. The garden sits on the plot where I live with my family, woven into everyday life. Every stem is grown using sustainable, soil-focused methods.
Community
Community is at the heart of Sunny Mound. When spring arrives, I love opening the honesty flower shed and welcoming people throughout the growing season to browse and buy seasonal bouquets, bunches and jam jars. I also host seasonal workshops — a chance to gather, create and celebrate the flowers together. You don’t have to travel far to find special blooms!Seasonality
Choosing seasonal flowers supports: Local growing, lower environmental impact and resilient, place based flower culture.A Creative Practice
I studied Textile Design at art school, and over time the garden has become my canvas. Colour, texture and light guide both the flowers I grow and the seasonal arrangements I create.
If you love seasonal colour, bouquets full of character, and jam jars glowing with garden joy, Sunny Mound Flower Garden is the place for you!
Meet the Maker!
Hi, I’m Megan — a flower grower, mum and artist, growing seasonal flowers and foliage from my garden in Inverness.
Sunny Mound is a small, family-led business shaped by creativity and the rhythm of the seasons. What began as a love of gardening has grown into a space where colour, scent and texture are celebrated week by week, flower by flower.Nothing makes me happier than welcoming my local, flowery community to the honesty shed and seeing neighbours, friends and new faces stop by to choose their blooms. If you’re looking for seasonal, locally grown flowers, I’d love for you to come and discover what’s in bloom!
